I couldn’t agree with you more in regards to being around and learning from people that are better than you in the profession. Even better is when they have a vested interest in your success.
How can someone teach you to make a specific dollar amt. if they never earned that amt…bottom line is they can’t.
This 3 minute clip is one of the best pieces of advice to any rookies or veterans looking to reach a new level of achievement and can save you a lot of wasted time from hanging around the wrong people.
During my daily travels as a Loan Officer I pay attention to all people at the beginning to see if this person has an amount of knowledge that may benefit myself. Years ago I would pay attention to people only if I thought they would be a potential customer. Today I have been able to enjoy the company of many people that have very positive knowledge. Always remember there is a big difference between hearing someone and actually listening to that person.
