Interesting tip. Thanks! It also worked on my VOIP phone number. It didn’t work on my cellphone because I don’t have voice mail.

I think the underlying Sly Dial service is farming for cellphone numbers, so I’m hoping I don’t get a lot of unsolicited calls or text messages now.

Love it Carl! We’ll be using this a lot. As to realtors, our experience is that if you call on Monday morning they aren’t out of bed yet anyway! Oops, did I say that?

Great tip. Here is a piggyback:
I use a service called CallFire. In this instance you can prerecord a message (so you get the best, sharpest, quickest presentation) and dump the message each call, or figure out the timing and do it as a broadcast VM.

The service isn’t expensive, no sign up, no dues. Cost is .035-.045 cents/min. That is $2.00 to $4.00 per hour.

Do you know what phone # will show up on the caller ID? Is it the SlyDial #?
